HIRSTGLEN ARABIANS - Australian bred, world class endurance horses
FEBRUARY 2011

The Weismann family is off to a fine start for the 2011 season.

Donna's daughter's Sharn and Samantha achieved their first FEI stars! Riding Hirstglen Mack and Hirstglen Zanadu, the girls came 4th & 5th Youth in the Zalman Challenge at Fernvale.

The very next day, Noel rode stallion Hirstglen Louisville, whilst Tim rode Hirstglen Mack in the Training ride. What was unusual about this ride, was Father & Son riding Father & Son. Louisville is the Sire of Mack while Noel is the Sire of Tim! This was also Tim's return to Endurance after a fall saw him break both elbows.

JANUARY 2011

A new season

Weismann Endurance is looking forward to a new year in Endurance, but with recent flooding in Queensland, it could be off to a slow start!

Fortunately, both the Brisbane and Kilkivan properties have been largely unaffected and the horses are all doing well.

We anticipate our first ride will be at Fernvale in February, however this will be dependant on our ability to train in the current conditions.
