Spring Mountain Endurance
Weismann Endurance celebrated 100% completions at Spring Mountain over the weekend: Donna on Fargo, Vanessa Tiffen on Zanadu, Sharn on Texas Rose and Samantha riding Zeus.
Both Fargo and Zanadu are heading to Manilla next week for the 2010 Tom Quilty.
JANUARY - APRIL 2010
The year so far...
We have had a slow start to the year in terms of Endurance, but not much else!
The new year has bought with it some gorgeous new foals out of Morgan, Zelda, Blue Solitaire, Kompressor and Louisianna.Tim and Jo's mare Mavis welcomed Hirstglen Lock'n'Load (Locky) on New Years day, much to Tyla's delight. All these foals were sired by Arragon.
There has been plenty happening at the farm, including new accommodation which is well underway.The recent rain has transformed the property with plenty of feed heading into the cooler months.
Whilst we have been to a couple of rides early this year, we have more horses back in work preparing for some rides in the near future, including the Manilla Quilty.
Young team members Sharn, Samantha and Jessica are all open endurance riders and 7 year old Tyla successfully completed another 20km ride (thanks to Toft Endurance for loaning gorgeous Centrefold.)
